Passive Therapy

Equine Assisted Therapy

In EAT individuals participate in several different equine
activities to work toward rehabilitation. In most cases this
is just being involved in an Equestrian Environment until
the participant is ready to graduate to Horseback Riding Therapy.
This method helps to enhance personal growth by teaching emotional and social life skills through Horsemanship.
Groundwork and Passive Participation has immeasurable benefits while not being on horseback. Valuable and applicable lessons are gained while participants learn how to keep healthy, feed and care for our “Equine Heroes.”
